L’Nayim Shuman-Austin graduated summa cum laude from Seattle University School of Law in 2000, where she was a lead article editor on the Seattle University Law Review. Ms. Shuman-Austin joined the Washington State Bar Association in 2000, and has been a board member of both Washington Women Lawyers and its King County chapter, serving as the KCWWL president in 2004.
Before joining the law firm in 2006, Ms. Shuman-Austin clerked for four years on the Washington State Court of Appeals, Division One. She has transactional, litigation, and appellate experience and has worked on cases involving landlord-tenant issues, real property law, condominium associations, land-use and zoning decisions, employment law, estate planning, contract interpretation and statutory interpretation.
When not in the office, Ms. Shuman-Austin enjoys reading and spending time with her husband in the beautiful Pacific Northwest outdoors. |
